PAN Solutions, ltd., was founded in 2002; it operates in the fields of Public Affairs, Networking and Government Relations. PAN Solutions has three partners – Jana Marco, Milan Hejl, Marek Stránský.
In the context of the Czech Republic, Public Affairs is a young discipline. The term encompasses activities such as monitoring of the present legal environment, of the progress of drafting of laws, regulations and decrees by the executive and their later discussion in the Chamber of Deputies and Senate of the Czech Parliament. It also includes positive lobbying of the final legislation, so that it does not go against the client's interests, or that it is conducive to the client's interests and business objectives.
We are also active in Government Relations; we defend the client's interests vis-á-vis the government and local government. We facilitate communication and foster good relations of our clients with these entities. Such relations are the platform for success in advancing the client's interests vis-á-vis government institutions.
We also have an extensive expertise in the field of Networking; we are insiders to the mechanisms of Czech politics, working of political decision-making and real-power distribution, and, of course, we have a network of personal contacts.
In 2009, PAN Solutions became a member of the FIPRA group of international public affairs companies. Through its membership of this group, PAN Solutions can now provide high value added strategic public affairs advice in Brussels, throughout the EU Member States and in a total of more than 50 countries world wide. Typically all members of FIPRA, including PAN Solutions, stand out because of their personal experience: most have served national governments, parliaments, regulators or held senior positions in industry, trade associations, or consumer organizations. All in FIPRA are experts in political processes if only because they have experienced them from many different perspectives and done so at first hand. By joining FIPRA, PAN Solutions follows the FIPRA Code of Conduct within its key activities – Public Affairs, Government Relations and Networking.
We are confident that a transparent environment is the basis of and an inherent element in the development of our society. Violation of this principle would, in our view, undermine the fundamental principles of democracy. Transparency is also key for economic development. We believe that in the long term, any interference with transparency would turn against the client's interests and jeopardise his market position. Our believe in transparency is one of several reasons why PAN Solutions plays a leasing role in establishing of an Association of Public Affairs houses of the Czech Republic.
